File consists of slides depicting the exterior of Concordia, including the maintenance building beside Founders Hall, Guild Hall, and Schwermann Hall, and a "meet Concordia" sign. Slides also depict staff and faculty including Walter V. Schienbein and a pastor, and the Women's Guild.

Dormitory Renovation

Inscribed on back: shows men's dormitory dedicated and occupied in January 1926, in stage of renovation during summer of 1969. Entire "guts" were removed, "suites" for 4 or 5 students were changed to doubles, ozite floor carpeting installed, flourescent [fluorescent] light fixtures, formica-topped decks and bed-dresser units, new plumbing etc., as well as new entrances to the dormitory, all new aluminum windows with drapes, student lounge canteen + bookstore, as well as counselor's suite all for ca. $ 175,000.oo, or as one BHE official put it, less than half the cost of the building from scratch.

Inscribed on back: shows a room in "renovated" dormitory at Edmonton. Total of 30 rooms in dorm; on two floors. 28 "doubles" and 2 "singles". This photo shows a "double which has two beautifully-draped windows, two desk-book-shelf units, two bed-dresser-storage units, ozite carpeting and two closets with folding doors as well as two fluorescent light fixtures."
